This Manuel Ocampo painting (a contemporary master), replaced several images in Wal-Mart's Framed Art display, including; ducks, golfing, glittery water wheels, and a rather disturbing image of stacks of money (I had nothing to do with that). The pictures were checked every week or two to see how they were doing. Upon each revisit the pictures were buried in a different alcove - at that point they were returned to the front of the stack. This went on for a month until the display was disassembled. Manuel's paintings then made their way to the discount section.

Obviously they were too subtle to fulfill their Wal-Mart purpose. New images were made which showed the Framed Art display and the Ocampo painting. These were then placed in frames and into the discount area. Within a few days, all the diptychs and the original Ocampo paintings were removed from the store.
